The Venice Commission published on its web site today the Opinion on the Law on Freedom of Religion, which was adopted at the Commission's plenary session on Friday, 21 June 2019, in Venice.

The Venice Commission adopted, at today's plenary session in Venice, a positive opinion on the Draft Law on Freedom of Religion or Belief and Legal Status of Religious Communities, finding that the proposed legal text “brings important positive changes to the existing, out-dated legislation”.
